The agreement was signed at CEDIS premises by the company\u2019s Executive Director, <strong>Vladimir Ivanovi\u0107<\/strong>, and the President of the Chess Federation of Montenegro, <strong>Jovan Milovi\u0107<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The funds provided under the agreement will be directed towards developing chess among young people, as well as organising the European Youth Championship, which will be held in Budva in October.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CEDIS Executive Director <strong>Vladimir Ivanovi\u0107<\/strong> highlighted the importance of supporting sport, particularly young talents.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWith this agreement, we once again reaffirm our stable partnership with the umbrella institution of Montenegrin chess. CEDIS consistently supports community development through investment in education, sport and culture. We are proud to continue our cooperation with the Chess Federation of Montenegro, especially in a year when Montenegro has the honour of hosting the European Youth Championship. We believe that our support will help popularise chess among children and young people, as well as promote the talents who represent the future of Montenegrin sport,\u201d said <strong>Ivanovi\u0107<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The President of the Chess Federation of Montenegro, <strong>Jovan Milovi\u0107<\/strong>, thanked CEDIS for its longstanding cooperation and support.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOne of the most significant events in 2025 will be the European Youth Championship in Budva, which will bring together hundreds of talented chess players from across Europe. CEDIS has been one of the Chess Federation of Montenegro\u2019s most important partners for many years, and its support is of great importance to our activities, particularly when it comes to young chess players. This year, with CEDIS\u2019s help, we will provide free accommodation for the 60 best participants in the Montenegro Youth Championship. In this way, we want to enable our most promising players to take part in the European Championship and compete against their peers from across Europe. This support further motivates us to continue investing in chess as a sport that develops intellect, perseverance and strategic thinking,\u201d emphasised <strong>Milovi\u0107<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since its establishment, CEDIS has invested significant funds in supporting Montenegrin sport. The value of this year\u2019s sponsorship agreements has already exceeded \u20ac130,000, demonstrating our commitment to the advancement of sport in Montenegro.
