We will continue to foster corporate social responsibility as an integral part of our long-term business strategy, said Bori\u010di\u0107.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Du\u0161an-Bori\u010di\u0107-scaled.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-14258\" src=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Du\u0161an-Bori\u010di\u0107-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><em>Du\u0161an Bori\u010di\u0107<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For years, the Employers\u2019 Union of Montenegro has organised awards for examples of good practice in corporate social responsibility under the title \u201cUPCG Awards for CSR\u201d. The awards are presented to small, medium-sized and large enterprises in the following areas: (1) Care for Employees, (2) Care for the Environment and (3) Care for the Community.<\/p>\n<p>The event also featured a ceremony announcing the winners of the \u201cUPCG Awards for the Best Female Managers\u201d for 2022. Special UPCG recognitions were also presented to those who stood out through their work, business policies, management practices and achievements.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Nagrade-UPCG-2022-scaled.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-14256\" src=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Nagrade-UPCG-2022-1024x644.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>UPCG President <strong>Predrag Mitrovi\u0107<\/strong> noted on this occasion that, for Montenegro to join the European family, it must have a stable and enabling business environment, sustainable and competitive enterprises, and a qualified workforce. This cannot be achieved without social dialogue\u2014that is, a social consensus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Employers\u2019 Union will remain committed to achieving the goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and in particular Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth,\u201d Mitrovi\u0107 said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nina Krgovi\u0107<\/strong>, representative of the International Labour Organization, said that the Employers\u2019 Union had been a reliable partner to the organisation she represents since its inception.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the past years, we have collaborated on a wide range of activities\u2014from preparing analyses, position papers and research to providing direct support to businesses. I must also highlight what may be most important: our cooperation in updating an entire set of labour laws, through the work of tripartite working groups supported by ILO experts,\u201d Krgovi\u0107 emphasised.
