\u201eFirst of all,<\/em> CEDIS organises and finances the only national competition in electrical engineering for students of Montenegrin secondary schools\u2014Energy in the Wire. Last year, we also launched the \u201cEnergy\u2014Underlined in Green\u201d project, through which schools submit \u201cgreen\u201d projects to receive funding for their implementation. We are particularly proud of our cooperation with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the \u201cVaso Aligrudi\u0107\u201d Electrical Engineering School, with which we have signed cooperation agreements to enable young people to acquire specific practical and theoretical knowledge within our company. In addition to this, there are numerous donation agreements thanks to which our schools have been equipped with more modern facilities. I would like to emphasise that CEDIS\u2019s activities are complex and require the involvement of experts from numerous fields, which is why we strive to work closely with educational institutions to guide and train young people<\/em>.\u201c<\/p>\n The donated funds of three thousand euros to the \u201cMaksim Gorki\u201d Public Institution Primary School will be spent on modernising the IT and technology classrooms, equipping the computer room, and carrying out part of the works in the gymnasium. According to the school principal, Tigran Dobra\u0161inovi\u0107<\/strong>, the primary school is making efforts to organise practical classes that will engage students in studying mathematics, physics, technical education and IT.<\/p>\n \u201eThanks to CEDIS\u2019s donation, we are well underway with equipping the technology workshop. Two large workbenches have been purchased, on which we will install tools for working with wood and simple metal structures. In addition, we are renovating a room in the gymnasium, so part of the funds will be spent on installing electrical wiring and beginning work on the walls and floors<\/em>\u201c, Dobra\u0161inovi\u0107 stated.<\/p>\n Zoran \u0110uki\u0107<\/strong>, principal of the \u201cSavo Pejanovi\u0107\u201d Public Institution Primary School, said that it is important for students to acquire knowledge in a modern way, which is why the school opted to purchase projectors.<\/p>\n The \u201cRadojica Perovi\u0107\u201d Public Institution Primary School will also use the donation of two thousand euros to purchase computer equipment, as school principal Sne\u017eana Tomanovi\u0107<\/strong> noted.<\/p>\n \u201eWe are currently purchasing laptops and two printers, projectors, projector screens and speakers. This is a very important donation for our school and will greatly facilitate work processes for teachers and classroom teachers, as well as students<\/em>\u201c, Tomanovi\u0107 said.<\/p>\n Milo\u0161 Marovi\u0107<\/strong>, principal of the Public Institution Secondary School of Construction and Geodesy “In\u017e. Marko Radevi\u0107”, thanked the CEDIS Board of Directors and Executive Director for the funds allocated, and said:<\/p>\n \u201eWe have directed the assistance towards improving the capacity of the computer classroom, primarily in order to provide the highest possible quality of instruction for the vocations taught at the school, some of which are in short supply but are essential to the labour market. As modular teaching has been implemented at the school since September 2020 and requires high-quality, modern computer equipment, we used the donated funds to purchase three desktop computer configurations without peripherals<\/em>.\u201c<\/p>\n As part of its socially responsible activities, CEDIS donated eight thousand euros to the Podgorica primary schools \u201cMaksim Gorki\u201d, \u201cSavo Pejanovi\u0107\u201d and \u201cRadojica Perovi\u0107\u201d, and one thousand euros to the Secondary School of Construction and Geodesy “In\u017e. Marko Radovi\u0107”.
