The largest share of electricity, around 37 per cent, was distributed to customers in Podgorica, Danilovgrad, Tuzi and Cetinje (Region 2).<\/p>\n<p>A total of <strong>403,949 <\/strong><strong>meters were read, or 94 per cent<\/strong> of the total number (unread metering points are located in buildings that are not permanently occupied). The meter-reading rate for metering points equipped with new electronic meters is 99 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>In October, Maintenance Sector teams carried out <strong>1,934<\/strong><strong> field interventions at the 10\/0.4 kV level.<\/strong> The value of works on the maintenance of electricity infrastructure (10\/0.4 kV) amounted to around <strong>\u20ac309,000.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In October, <strong>849 <\/strong><strong>new customers were connected<\/strong> to the distribution network.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, the \u201cVelje Brdo\u201d 35\/10 kV substation, worth more than one million euros, was commissioned. In addition, the reconstruction of the 10 kV switchgear at the \u201cCentar\u201d 35\/10 kV substation in Podgorica was successfully completed in October, at a cost of around \u20ac1.3 million. Tender procedures worth \u20ac6.5 million were also launched for the construction of four facilities at the 35\/10 kV voltage level (\u201cGrbalj\u201d and \u201cBigova\u201d in Kotor, \u201cTri krsta\u201d on the Tivat side of Lu\u0161tica, and \u201cVolo\u0111a\u201d in Pljevlja). Work is also under way to reconstruct the 35 kV \u201cRibarevine\u2013\u0160\u0107epanica\u201d overhead line in Bijelo Polje, with \u20ac220,000 allocated for the project. A number of projects were completed at the secondary level, including the construction of the \u201cPetnjica\u201d double-circuit 10 kV overhead line from the \u201cBerane 3\u201d 35\/10 kV substation to the branch pole in Paljuh, worth around \u20ac110,000. The technical inspection has been completed and the use permit obtained for this project.<\/p>\n<p>During October, 556 new electronic meters were installed across Montenegro.
