The construction of this facility has created the conditions for improving the quality of electricity supply for around 1,300 customers in the areas of Rogami, Velje Brdo, Vranjske Njive, Piperi and part of Zagori\u010d.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/TS-Velje-Brdo-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-13972\" src=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/TS-Velje-Brdo-2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <em>CEDIS continuously works on planning and developing the distribution network in order to improve the quality of supply for existing customers and create the conditions for connecting new ones. That is precisely what we are achieving by commissioning the \u201cVelje Brdo\u201d substation. Supply conditions for existing customers have been significantly improved, and infrastructure has been provided for the development of this area, which is attractive both for residential construction and for business activity. From the perspective of the electricity distribution system, construction of this facility has resolved the problem of overloading on the \u201cDanilovgrad\u201d feeder, established a new supply point and thereby relieved the existing \u201cGorica-B\u201d 35\/10 kV substation. In addition, the \u201cDanilovgrad\u201d feeder has been reorganised into three new, significantly shorter 10 kV lines, achieving a higher level of security and quality in electricity supply for customers in the area from Zagori\u010d to Velje Brdo <\/em>&#8211; said <strong>Boris Ostoji\u0107, Head of the ICT and Development, Investments and Grid Access Directorate,<\/strong> at the event held to mark the commissioning of the facility.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Pu\u0161tanje u rad TS Velje Brdo   Boris Ostoji\u0107 1\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/nd-uQJG1_KY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em> Boris Ostoji\u0107<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Head of the ICT and Development, Investments and Grid Access Directorate<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The project involved construction of a new substation building, installation of 35 kV and 10 kV air-insulated switchgear and transformers (35\/10 kV, 2 x 2.5 MVA), as well as integration of the substation into the 35 kV and 10 kV networks. The construction work was carried out by \u201cEminent\u201d d.o.o. Podgorica, with subcontractors \u201cEurozox\u201d and \u201cGeotin MNE\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/TS-Velje-Brdo-6.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-13980\" src=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/TS-Velje-Brdo-6-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Project implementation activities were managed by <strong>Vojislava Cerovi\u0107, Chief Engineer in CEDIS\u2019s Investments Sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/TS-Velje-Brdo-5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-13978\" src=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/TS-Velje-Brdo-5-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In addition to this project, the previous month CEDIS successfully completed the reconstruction of the 10 kV switchgear at the \u201cCentar\u201d 35\/10 kV substation in Podgorica, at a cost of \u20ac1.3 million.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/TS-Velje-Brdo-4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-13976\" src=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/TS-Velje-Brdo-4-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <em>Given the conditions imposed by the global energy crisis, it is important to point out that this year has been quite challenging in terms of maintaining the pace of investment. Despite the unfavourable circumstances, numerous projects have been completed and opportunities created for the imminent implementation of multi-million-euro investments of great importance both to businesses and citizens and to the electricity distribution system. First and foremost, I have in mind the \u201cDuklo\u201d 35\/10 kV substation in Nik\u0161i\u0107, for which we<\/em><em> have created all the prerequisites for construction to begin as early as next year. In addition, in accordance with the Investment Plan, we have issued public tenders on a \u201cturnkey\u201d basis for the \u201cGrbalj\u201d and \u201cBigova\u201d 35\/10 kV substations in Kotor, as well as for the \u201cTri krsta\u201d substation in the Tivat area of Lu\u0161tica. A public tender has also been issued for the construction of the \u201cVolo\u0111a\u201d 35\/10 kV substation in Pljevlja.
