The impressive number of schools that took part with their projects shows that we have more than succeeded in this,\u201d \u010ca\u0111enovi\u0107 stated.<\/p>\n<p>As he emphasized, CEDIS is determined to make managing environmental impacts an integral part of its business operations.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Energija podvu\u010deno zelenom,  izvr\u0161ni direktor kompanije CEDIS Vladimir \u010ca\u0111enovi\u0107\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/toO6yNk7KmU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn addition, with the \u2018Energy Underlined in Green\u2019 project, our company has also symbolically demonstrated its support for our country&#8217;s commitment and environmental path on the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration on the Proclamation of Montenegro as an Ecological State,\u201d \u010ca\u0111enovi\u0107 added.<\/p>\n<p>As he noted, the aim is to use this project to encourage young people, who are the driving force behind all positive energy in society, to think green and share their experience with others in the community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn this way, we are building a powerful army of people who will preserve and protect our country&#8217;s natural wealth,\u201d \u010ca\u0111enovi\u0107 said.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, they expect to soon have the opportunity to see the completed projects, which will serve as examples and encouragement for others to work with even greater dedication and thoroughness on improving and developing ideas in the field of ecology, so that Montenegro will be an even more beautiful and safer place in which to pursue all personal and business goals.<\/p>\n\n<p>The project <strong>\u201cConstruction of the First Solar Classroom\u201d<\/strong>, prepared by the \u201cMirko Ve\u0161ovi\u0107\u201d Secondary School of Economics (SS\u0160) in Podgorica, won first place in the \u201cEnergy Underlined in Green\u201d competition.<\/p>\n<p>Second place went to the project <strong>\u201cEco Nursery\u201d<\/strong>, submitted by the \u201cSpasoje Raspopovi\u0107\u201d Secondary Vocational School in Podgorica, while third place went to the project <strong>\u201cOutdoor Green Classroom \u2013 Eco Gumno\u201d<\/strong>, submitted by the \u201c\u0160tampar Makarije\u201d Primary School (O\u0160) in Podgorica.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the committee, comprising <strong>Marija Jovovi\u0107<\/strong> \u2013 CEDIS, <strong>Nevena \u010cabrilo<\/strong> \u2013 Bureau for Education, national coordinator for Montenegro for the International Eco-Schools Programme and committee member, <strong>Tatjana Ze\u010devi\u0107 Miranovi\u0107<\/strong> \u2013 CEDIS, <strong>Sa\u0161a Karajovi\u0107<\/strong> \u2013 NGO \u201cEKOM\u201d and member of the Environmental Protection Foundation, and <strong>Du\u0161an Bugarin<\/strong> \u2013 Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism, awarded two more excellent projects: <strong>\u201cEco Laboratory\u201d<\/strong> by the \u201cVuk Kara\u0111\u017ei\u0107\u201d Primary School, Podgorica, and <strong>\u201cThe Schoolyard as an Outdoor Classroom\u201d<\/strong> by the \u201cMihailo \u017dugi\u0107\u201d Primary School, Od\u017eak, Pljevlja.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The principal of the \u201cMirko Ve\u0161ovi\u0107\u201d Secondary Vocational School, <strong>Dijana Vuja\u010di\u0107<\/strong>, thanked CEDIS, a socially responsible company that recognized the importance of education for sustainable development, which the school has been implementing in detail for some time.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Energija podvu\u010deno zelenom, direktorica JU SS\u0160 Mirko Ve\u0161ovi\u0107 Dijana Vuja\u010di\u0107\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/09fDbMAIbU0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThanks to them, we now have the opportunity to build the first solar classroom in our schoolyard, where students and teachers will be able to raise environmental awareness in a modern setting,\u201d Vuja\u010di\u0107 emphasized.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, the project was prepared and written by the \u201cMirko Ve\u0161ovi\u0107\u201d School Eco Club team, led by teachers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough this project, we have made a contribution that will be reflected in the fact that we will save the electricity consumed by the school itself,\u201d Vuja\u010di\u0107 said.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Deputy Principal of the \u201cSpasoje Raspopovi\u0107\u201d Secondary Vocational School, <strong>Vesko Mihailovi\u0107,<\/strong> thanked CEDIS for coming up with the idea of launching a competition for this project.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Energija podvu\u010deno zelenom, zamjenik direktora JU SS\u0160 Spasoje Raspopovi\u0107, Vesko Mihailovi\u0107\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/INlNMpTkt-Q?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>He noted that the school holds the Green Flag and has been declared an Eco-School.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe entered the competition with the \u2018Eco Greenhouse\u2019 project, and I believe this competition will provide additional motivation for future projects, as well as encourage all employees to get involved in this project so that it can be implemented as successfully as possible,\u201d Mihailovi\u0107 said.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the school&#8217;s environmental projects team had been working on writing and preparing this project since the beginning of the school year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe they have achieved a good result, as this award proves,\u201d Mihailovi\u0107 observed.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The project coordinator at the \u201c\u0160tampar Makarije\u201d Primary School, <strong>Rajna Ivanovi\u0107,<\/strong> said that their \u201cOutdoor Green Classroom \u2013 Eco Gumno\u201d project aims to enable children to work outdoors.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Energija podvu\u010deno zelenom, Koordinator projekta JU O\u0160 \u0160tampar Makarije Rajna Ivanovi\u0107\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PU18SSrhiMk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; We also want to show children how they should treat the environment,\u201d Ivanovi\u0107 stated.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, writing the project took about six months.<\/p>\n<p>Ivanovi\u0107 thanked CEDIS for recognizing the potential of the schools\u2019 ideas, which will enable children to be educated and develop environmental awareness.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Biljana Veli\u010dkovi\u0107<\/strong> from the \u201cVuk Karad\u017ei\u0107\u201d Primary School said that the idea behind their \u201cEco Laboratory\u201d project is to improve the schoolyard, with the aim of making better use of the space.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Energija podvu\u010deno zelenom, Biljana Veli\u010dkovi\u0107 iz JU O\u0160 Vuk Karad\u017ei\u0107\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8-Rx8iOZk_M?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>As she explained, a team of teachers who run the school&#8217;s young scientists club took part in preparing the project.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would like to thank CEDIS for the opportunity to take part in this project, and I hope we will use the allocated funds effectively,\u201d Veli\u010dkovi\u0107 said.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The principal of the \u201cMihailo \u017dugi\u0107\u201d Primary School in Pljevlja, <strong>Du\u0161ica Kne\u017eevi\u0107<\/strong>, said that they are, above all, proud that as a small rural school they have \u201cstood shoulder to shoulder with large urban schools\u201d with a high-quality project developed by classroom teacher <strong>Matija Zori\u0107<\/strong>, who is also the Eco-School coordinator.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Energija podvu\u010deno zelenom, direktorica JU O\u0160 Mihailo \u017dugi\u0107 iz Pljevalja Du\u0161ica Kne\u017eevi\u0107\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QMdj_1Jy0dk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn this occasion, I would like to thank Zori\u0107 personally and on behalf of the school,\u201d Kne\u017eevi\u0107 said.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cSchoolyard as an Outdoor Classroom\u201d project, she explained, will be implemented in the yard of the main school in Od\u017eak and the satellite school in Borovica.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy implementing the project, we plan to address some issues, namely putting part of the schoolyard, located behind the school and currently unusable, to use,\u201d Kne\u017eevi\u0107 emphasized.<\/p>\n<p>She added that she was grateful to CEDIS for the valuable award.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>In cooperation with the Bureau for Education of Montenegro, which implements the International Eco-Schools Programme, CEDIS launched the \u201cEnergy Underlined in Green\u201d competition for environmental protection projects on 20 September.<\/p>\n<p>Educational institutions implementing the International Eco-Schools Programme, namely those holding the international Green Flag award, as well as institutions that had applied to pilot the Eco-Schools Programme, were eligible to participate.
