The host on behalf of EDS was General Director <strong>Bojan Atlagi\u0107 <\/strong>and his closest associates.<\/p>\n<p>The working meeting between representatives of the CEDIS and EDS management teams focused on opportunities to enhance cooperation between the two distribution system operators, with the aim of increasing efficiency and productivity through the introduction of new technologies for a modern and flexible electricity distribution system.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/20211124_102639.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12226 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/20211124_102639-1024x605.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"402\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At the meeting, EDS presented the restructuring process it has been carrying out for several years in order to meet all regulatory and international obligations (Energy Community of South East Europe) undertaken in recent years. Detailed discussions were held on the territorial organisation of distribution activities across the entire Elektrodistribucija Srbije service area, its internal functional organisation, and all vital business and technical systems.<\/p>\n<p>A visit was also organised to the main dispatch centre of the Belgrade Distribution Area, where our representatives learned about the installed systems for remote monitoring and control of the distribution network at all voltage levels.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/20211124_082543.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12228 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/20211124_082543-1024x580.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"385\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>EDS has been actively working with these complex systems for some time, and our representatives learned in detail about the processes involved in their implementation at the company (planning, design, procurement of equipment and installation). They also learned about the operations of the Belgrade Distribution Dispatch Centre, as well as the coordination of its work with higher-level centres.<\/p>\n<p>All the functionalities of the SCADA system, which enables the efficient operational management of an exceptionally complex electricity distribution system such as the Belgrade service area, were presented. The operation and mutual coordination of the subordinate control centres covering the 10 kV and low-voltage distribution networks in the urban part of the Belgrade service area were also presented.<\/p>\n<p>The concept applied to the automation of the medium-voltage distribution network was also presented, along with its evolution towards the most advanced solutions for advanced automation of the medium-voltage network, which are currently being implemented.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/20211124_082404.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12230 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/20211124_082404-1024x601.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"399\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>CEDIS representatives also had the opportunity to learn about modern solutions for an integrated system for remote monitoring of the low-voltage network, as well as further plans for its development and wider implementation across the entire service area of the city of Belgrade and other distribution areas under the jurisdiction of the distribution system operator.<\/p>\n<p>Opportunities for transferring knowledge and experience were analysed in light of the needs involved in implementing such systems for CEDIS, and ongoing cooperation and the exchange of experience between the two companies in the coming years were agreed upon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CEDIS Executive Director Vladimir \u010ca\u0111enovi\u0107, accompanied by colleagues, paid a working visit to \u201cElektrodistribucija Srbije\u201d.
