The largest share of electricity, around 39 per cent, was distributed to users in the areas of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje (Region 2).<\/p>\n<p>A total of <strong>394,505 meters<\/strong> were read, or <strong>94 per cent<\/strong> of the total number (unread metering points are located in buildings that are not permanently occupied). The reading rate at metering points equipped with new electronic meters is 99 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>In October, the Maintenance Sector teams carried out <strong>2,091 field interventions.<\/strong> The value of works to maintain power facilities amounted to around <strong>\u20ac325,000.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>613 new users<\/strong> were connected to the distribution network during October.<\/p>\n<p>CEDIS is completing works worth <strong>\u20ac1.45 million<\/strong> to replace the 10 kV switchgear at the 110\/10 kV \u201cKli\u010devo\u201d substation. The facility was energised and integrated into the network in October, while the completion of landscaping works is expected soon, bringing the project to a successful conclusion. At the secondary network level, the construction of <strong>ten facilities, worth around \u20ac850,000<\/strong>, was completed during the preceding period, with the largest share allocated to the construction of seven substations (10\/0.4 kV) in Podgorica. In the areas of Podgorica, Budva, Kotor and Herceg Novi, we are carrying out works to construct <strong>four facilities at the 10\/0.4 kV voltage level, worth around \u20ac400,000<\/strong>. Works are also underway on the <strong>reconstruction of the 35 kV \u201cPlav-Gusinje\u201d overhead power line, for which CEDIS will allocate around \u20ac108,000.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the previous month, 15 new electronic meters were installed across Montenegro. The total number of metering points in Montenegro equipped with remotely controlled electronic meters is around 337,000, covering more than 80 per cent of the customer base.<\/p>\n<p>CEDIS\u2019s core activity is the distribution of electricity, as well as the construction and maintenance of distribution facilities and the distribution network.
