It was not difficult to work out whose data MP Du\u0161ko Markovi\u0107 was using, and, as expected, the former CEDIS party coordinator has now spoken out, without refuting any of the claims with which we challenged the falsehoods put forward by the former Prime Minister. I believe it would have been much more prudent for Ms Sekuli\u0107 not to comment on employment, as her hand is evident at CEDIS, both before and after 30 August. And, as expected, that record is more than questionable, with around 100 people unlawfully employed during her \u201ccoordination\u201d, while the competent inspectorate has already ordered the termination of employment contracts for seven employees. Those are the results of her party activities concerning employment at CEDIS.<\/p>\n

I assume it is unpleasant that there are no longer any non-transparent projects or rigged tenders at CEDIS, so you are misleading people with claims about halted investments. However, it is not difficult to refute that claim, as the facts disprove it. Immediately after taking up the position of Executive Director, I revived work on the SCADA project, one of the most important and valuable projects currently underway at CEDIS. I expect that we will have the tender documentation ready for this multimillion-euro project as early as the beginning of next year. At CEDIS, we are also working intensively on preparing the next phase of the Rural Network Revitalisation Project, as well as a number of smaller projects worth millions. Every day, we also resolve problems faced by users of the electricity distribution network, some of whom had not even had the opportunity to be heard for more than two decades.<\/p>\n

Ms Sekuli\u0107 does not refute the \u201cpluses and minuses\u201d that were the key \u201cpass\u201d during her \u201ccoordination\u201d, nor can she refute them, as they are widely known facts\u2014with one circumstance that may be unpleasant for some: those records no longer have any significance or weight. The financial \u201cpluses\u201d she invokes so often are also being examined in detail, as there is reasonable suspicion that, unfortunately, they never existed.<\/p>\n

It is important that we also establish how your best and most experienced staff explain that they did not procure the full volumes of electricity at prices below \u20ac50\/MWh, while you ask the new management why it did not conclude long-term contracts at the height of the greatest global energy crisis, at prices exceeding \u20ac200\/MWh! No special understanding of the electricity market or procurement is needed for the public to see what is going on.<\/p>\n

The fact that your staff, knowing they were leaving their positions, tried to leave behind as dire a situation as possible at the company they managed (probably on your instructions) says enough about your patriotism. You and your staff should be ashamed of the fact that you failed to conclude long-term contracts with electricity suppliers when market prices were significantly below the regulator-approved price, thereby deliberately exposing the company you coordinated to the problems brought about by the greatest energy crisis in world history. Anyone involved in this business (and your most qualified and experienced staff surely knew this) understands that long-term contracts for these needs are concluded when market prices are favourable, not when prices are at historic highs and exceed \u20ac200\/MWh. Your malicious comment says enough about the fact that you were fully aware of the risk to which you were exposing the company by acting as described.<\/p>\n

Your expert staff were probably busy organising pressure on employees not to turn out to vote in August. One thing is certain: you, your staff and your party will never again manage this company or siphon citizens\u2019 money into private pockets.<\/p>\n

We do things differently. The CEDIS discount cost is distributed equally among all citizens of Montenegro, and the invoices for covering losses are in any case charged to EPCG, our founder, so not a single cent has been diverted or paid to the account of your party\u2019s oligarch-owned companies.<\/p>\n

This concludes any further explanations to Ms Sekuli\u0107. We will continue to inform the public promptly and transparently about CEDIS\u2019s activities and business results. For any data needed to assess CEDIS\u2019s operations, including employment, we refer the MP to the provisions available to her under the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, and call on her to stop misleading the public with inaccurate information and to advise Mr Markovi\u0107 in a different direction, helping him finally achieve political success.
