The largest share of electricity, around 34 per cent, was distributed to users in the areas of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje (Region 2).<\/p>\n<p>A total of <strong>395.899<\/strong> <strong>meters<\/strong> were read, or <strong>95 per cent<\/strong> of the total number (unread metering points are located in properties that are not permanently occupied). The reading rate for metering points equipped with new electronic meters is 99 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>In August, the Maintenance Sector teams <strong>responded in the field 2.335<\/strong> <strong>times.<\/strong> The value of works on the maintenance of electricity facilities amounted to<strong> 308.789 euros.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>271 new users<\/strong> were connected to the distribution network in August.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, <strong>18 new electronic meters<\/strong> <strong>were installed<\/strong> in Montenegro. The total number of metering points in Montenegro equipped with remotely controlled electronic meters is around 337,000, covering more than 80 per cent of electricity consumption.<\/p>\n<p>Preparatory activities are under way for the implementation of planned investments at the secondary network level, with a value of around 2.4 million euros. The largest number of projects is currently under way in the Podgorica consumption area, where several facilities will be built, with intensive preparatory activities in progress. These include the construction of nine 10\/4 kV transformer stations (NDTS \u201cBeri 2\u201d and \u201cBeri 4\u201d, TS &#8220;BR.9-PMPG&#8221; with a connecting line and integration into the LV network, TS \u201cNova br.6\u201c and TS \u201cNOVA br. 10\u201d, under the \u201cZabjelo &#8211; Ljubovi\u0107\u201d Detailed Urban Plan, DTS \u201cBr.1 &#8211; nova\u201d, under the \u201cKonik &#8211; Stari Aerodrom III\u201d Detailed Urban Plan, and DTS \u201cbr. 2\u201d, under the \u201cUniverzitetski centar\u201d Detailed Urban Plan, as well as the \u201cBrskut\u201d and \u201cOd\u017eino polje 2\u201d pole-mounted transformer stations with a connecting 10 kV line and integration into the LV network).<\/p>\n<p>Multi-million-euro projects are also planned for the primary distribution network. Urban planning and technical requirements have been obtained for the construction of the TS 35\/10 kV &#8220;Duklo&#8221; (2x8MVA) in Nik\u0161i\u0107, valued at 1.9 million euros, as well as for the reconstruction of the 35 kV &#8220;Markovi\u0107i&#8221;-&#8220;Milo\u010der&#8221; overhead line in Budva, where the reconstruction of TS 35\/10 kV \u201cBuljarica\u201d is also planned.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/admin.cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/infografik-avgust-2021.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11906\" src=\"http:\/\/admin.cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/infografik-avgust-2021-1024x768.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In August, users of the electricity distribution system took a total of \u00a0263.852.287 kWh of electricity, which is 25 per cent more than in the same period of the previous year.
