The largest share of electricity, around 35 percent, was distributed to users in the areas of Podgorica, Danilovgrad, Tuzi and Cetinje (Region 2).<\/p>\n<p>A total of <strong>394.327<\/strong> <strong>meters<\/strong> were read, or more than <strong>94 percent<\/strong> of the total number (unread metering points are located in properties that are not permanently occupied). The meter reading rate at metering points equipped with new electronic meters is 99 percent.<\/p>\n<p>In July, the Maintenance Sector teams <strong>carried out 1.840 field interventions.<\/strong> The value of works on the maintenance of electricity facilities amounted to <strong>more than 260 thousand euros.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>602 new users<\/strong> were connected to the distribution network in July.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, <strong>19 new electronic meters<\/strong> <strong>were installed<\/strong> in Montenegro. More than 337 thousand metering points in Montenegro are equipped with remotely managed electronic meters, covering more than 80 percent of electricity consumption.<\/p>\n<p>In July, work began on the 35 kV \u201cPlav \u2013 Gusinje\u201d overhead line at the primary distribution network level. The line supplies electricity to the municipality of Gusinje, serving around 1.900 metering points. A total of 108 thousand euros was allocated for this investment. Preparations are under way for reconstruction work on the 35 kV \u201cRibarevine \u2013 \u0160\u0107epanica\u201d overhead line in Bijelo Polje, for which more than 217 thousand euros has been allocated.<\/p>\n<p>CEDIS\u2019s core activities are the distribution of electricity and the construction and maintenance of distribution facilities and the network.
