The largest amount of electricity, around 35 per cent, was distributed to users in the areas of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje (Region 2).<\/p>\n<p>A total of <strong>391.860<\/strong> <strong>meters<\/strong> were read, or <strong>94 per cent<\/strong> of the total number (unread metering points are located in buildings that are not permanently occupied). The meter-reading rate at metering points equipped with new electronic meters is 99 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>In May, the Maintenance Sector teams <strong>intervened in the field 1599<\/strong> <strong>times.<\/strong> The value of works on the maintenance of electricity facilities amounted to<strong> \u20ac338.998.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>393 new users<\/strong> were connected to the distribution network during May.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, <strong>23 new electronic meters<\/strong> were <strong>installed<\/strong> in Montenegro. The total number of metering points in Montenegro equipped with remotely controlled electronic meters is around 337,000, covering more than 80 per cent of consumption.<\/p>\n<p>During May, contractors were selected to build two transformer stations with a voltage level of (10\/0.4 kV) in the Podgorica area, at a cost of around \u20ac194,000. A contractor was also selected last month to build the \u201cVr\u0161evo II\u201d transformer station (10\/0.4 kV) in Petnjica. The value of this project is around \u20ac49,000.<\/p>\n<p>CEDIS\u2019s core activity is the distribution of electricity and the construction and maintenance of distribution facilities and the network. CEDIS distributes electricity to around 416,000 users throughout Montenegro.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/admin.cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/infografik.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11443 size-large aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/admin.cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/infografik-1024x768.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"510\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Users of the electricity distribution system took a total of 199.514.012 kWh of electricity in May, which is 10 per cent more than in May of the previous year.
