The largest share of electricity, around 38 per cent, was distributed to users in the areas of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje (Region 2).<\/p>\n<p>A total of <strong>389,548<\/strong> <strong>meters<\/strong> were read, or <strong>94 per cent<\/strong> of the total number (unread metering points are located in buildings that are not permanently occupied). The reading rate for metering points equipped with new electronic meters is 99 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>In April, the Maintenance Sector teams <strong>carried out 1,699<\/strong> <strong>field interventions.<\/strong> The value of work on the maintenance of electricity facilities amounted to<strong> EUR 185,978.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>661 new users<\/strong> were connected to the distribution network during April.<\/p>\n<p>In the previous month, <strong>66 new electronic meters<\/strong> <strong>were installed<\/strong> across Montenegro. The total number of metering points in Montenegro equipped with remotely controlled electronic meters is around 337,000, covering over 80 per cent of consumption.<\/p>\n<p>In April, a project worth EUR 60,000 to equip two 35 kV bays at \u201cPodi\u201d was completed. This is a prerequisite for the construction of two 35 kV underground lines from the 110\/35 kV \u201cPodi\u201d substation to the 35\/10 kV \u201cKumbor\u201d and \u201cBao\u0161i\u0107i\u201d substations. At the secondary network level (10 and 0.4 kV lines and 10\/0.4 kV transformer stations), construction of three 10\/0.4 kV transformer stations (\u201cDuvanski kombinat\u201d in Podgorica, \u201cRena\u201d in Bar and \u201cBorje 1\u201d in \u017dabljak) was completed in the previous month, at a cost of around EUR 185,000. Reconstruction of the low-voltage network (transformer station area of the 10\/0.4 kV \u201c\u010cevo\u201d substation) in the Municipality of Cetinje was also completed, with the works valued at around EUR 95,000.<\/p>\n<p>CEDIS\u2019s core activity is the distribution of electricity and the construction and maintenance of distribution facilities and the network.
