The largest amount of electricity, around 40 per cent, was distributed to users in the areas of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje (Region 2).<\/p>\n<p>A total of <strong>383,909<\/strong> <strong>meters<\/strong> were read, or <strong>93 per cent<\/strong> of the total number (unread metering points are located in buildings that are not permanently occupied). The meter-reading rate at metering points equipped with new electronic meters is 99 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>In January, the Maintenance Sector teams <strong>carried out 1,648 <\/strong><strong>field interventions.<\/strong> The value of maintenance work on electricity facilities amounted to<strong> \u20ac31,828.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>343<\/strong><strong> new users<\/strong> were connected to the distribution network in January.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, <strong>329 new electronic meters<\/strong> <strong>were installed<\/strong> across Montenegro. The total number of metering points in Montenegro equipped with remotely managed electronic meters is around 335,000, covering more than 80 per cent of consumption.<\/p>\n<p>In January, work continued on 12 investment projects at the secondary network level, worth around \u20ac1.23 million. In the Podgorica area, projects are underway to construct three 10\/0.4 kV transformer stations (under the \u201cPobre\u017eje \u2013 zones A, B, C\u201d Detailed Urban Plan, the \u201cKonik &#8211; Stari Aerodrom III\u201d Detailed Urban Plan and \u201cBeri 4\u201d), with a total value of around \u20ac430,000. Activities are also underway to collect the documentation required for the construction of two cable lines, \u201cJadran Perast &#8211; TS Dra\u017ein Vrt\u201d and \u201cTS Dra\u017ein Vrt \u2013 Orahovac\u201d, which will require an investment of around \u20ac273,000. During January, a significant portion of the design documentation was also obtained for the reconstruction of the 10 kV overhead line \u201c\u017dabljak &#8211; Borje \u2013 Vrela\u201d, valued at around \u20ac183,000.<\/p>\n<p>CEDIS\u2019s core activity is the distribution of electricity, and the construction and maintenance of distribution facilities and the network.
