The largest share of electricity, around 38 per cent, was distributed to users in the areas of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje (Region 2).<\/p>\n<p>A total of <strong>385,365 meters<\/strong> were read, or <strong>94 per cent<\/strong> of the total (unread metering points are located in buildings that are not permanently occupied). The reading rate for metering points equipped with new electronic meters is 99 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>In October, teams from the Maintenance Sector <strong>intervened in the field 2,238 <\/strong><strong>times.<\/strong> The value of works to maintain electricity facilities amounted to <strong>464.985 thousand euros.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During October, works worth around 120 thousand euros to replace two transformers at the 35\/10 kV \u201cTopla\u201d transformer station were completed. Work also began on the reconstruction of the 35\/10 kV \u201cKumbor\u201d transformer station, for which around 1.4 million euros was allocated. In the previous month, works on the secondary network were completed on the construction of the 10\/0.4 kV \u201cEurozox\u201d transformer station in Spu\u017e, as well as the reconstruction of the \u201c\u017deljezni\u010dka stanica\u201d and \u201cTrpe\u0161ko brdo III\u201d low-voltage networks in Mojkovac and Petnjica. Around 100 thousand euros was allocated for these works.<\/p>\n<p><strong>821 new users<\/strong> were connected to the distribution network in October.<\/p>\n<p>In the previous month, <strong>a total of<\/strong><strong> 1,321 new electronic meters were installed<\/strong> across Montenegro. Around 330 thousand metering points in Montenegro are equipped with remotely controlled electronic meters, covering around 80 per cent of consumption.<\/p>\n<p>CEDIS\u2019s core activities are the distribution of electricity and the construction and maintenance of distribution facilities and the network.
