The largest share of electricity, around 38%, was distributed to users in the areas of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje (Region 2).<\/p>\n<p>A total of <strong>380,008 meters<\/strong> were read, or <strong>93.5%<\/strong> of the total number (unread metering points are located in buildings that are not permanently occupied). The meter reading rate at metering points equipped with new electronic meters is 99%.<\/p>\n<p>In April, the Maintenance Sector teams <strong>carried out 1,428 <\/strong><strong>field interventions.<\/strong> The value of maintenance work on electricity infrastructure facilities amounted to around<strong> EUR 210,371 thousand.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During April, operating permits were issued for two pole-mounted substations in the Ro\u017eaje area (STS 10\/0.4 kV \u201cRepi\u0161te\u201d and \u201cCrnja\u201d), with a value of around EUR 60,000, and work began on the reconstruction of the 10\/0.4 kV substation \u201cToma\u0161evo\u201d in Bijelo Polje. Preparations were also made in the previous month for the implementation of 39 investment projects, for which more than EUR 2.3 million has been allocated for construction (excluding VAT). Of these projects, the largest amount\u2014around EUR 485,000 (excluding VAT)\u2014has been allocated for the construction of the 10 kV line \u201cKlinci-Arza\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In April, <strong>207<\/strong> <strong>new users were connected<\/strong> to the distribution network.<\/p>\n<p>In the previous month, <strong>794 new electronic meters<\/strong><strong> were installed<\/strong> across Montenegro. The total number of metering points in Montenegro equipped with remotely controlled electronic meters is around 325,000, covering approximately 80% of consumption.<\/p>\n<p>CEDIS\u2019s core activities are electricity distribution and the construction and maintenance of distribution facilities and the network.
