{"id":9172,"date":"2019-12-26T10:38:47","date_gmt":"2019-12-26T10:38:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cedis.me\/uncategorized\/755-new-customers-connected-in-november\/"},"modified":"2026-10-09T08:40:54","modified_gmt":"2026-10-09T08:40:54","slug":"755-new-customers-connected-in-november","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cedis.me\/en\/latest-news\/755-new-customers-connected-in-november\/","title":{"rendered":"755 New Customers Connected in November"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Customers of the electricity distribution system used a total of <strong>203.732.637 kWh of electricity<\/strong> in November, around eight per cent more than in October.<\/p>\n<p>The largest share of electricity, around 40 per cent, was distributed to customers in the areas of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje (Region 2).<\/p>\n<p>A total of <strong>373.790 metering points<\/strong> were read, or <strong>93 per cent<\/strong> of the total number (unread metering points are located in properties that are not permanently occupied). The reading rate for metering points equipped with new electronic meters is 99 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>In November, teams from the Maintenance Sector <strong>carried out 2.072 <\/strong><strong>field interventions.<\/strong> The value of works to maintain electricity facilities amounted to around<strong> 252.913 thousand euros.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During November, preparations began for the design documentation for the construction of 10 facilities at medium- and low-voltage levels, with a total value of over 600 thousand euros, and preparations continued for the design documentation for the one-million-euro project to build the 35\/10 kV &#8220;Velje Brdo&#8221; substation. Also in November, the procedure to resolve property and legal issues was initiated for the construction of the 10 kV &#8220;Klinci-Arza&#8221; line in the Herceg Novi area, with a value of around 430 thousand euros.<\/p>\n<p><strong>755<\/strong> <strong>new customers were connected<\/strong> to the distribution network in November.<\/p>\n<p>In the previous month, <strong>1.275 new electronic meters<\/strong> <strong>were installed<\/strong> across Montenegro. The total number of metering points in Montenegro equipped with remotely managed electronic meters is around 318 thousand, covering around 79 per cent of the customer base.<\/p>\n<p>CEDIS\u2019s core activity is the distribution of electricity, and the construction and maintenance of distribution facilities and the network.
