The reading rate at metering points equipped with new electronic meters is 99 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>In August, the Maintenance Department teams <strong>carried out field interventions on<\/strong> <strong>1,847 occasions.<\/strong> The value of maintenance works on electricity facilities amounted to around <strong>\u20ac303,935 thousand.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In August, work was completed in Tuzi and Cetinje on the construction of two electricity distribution facilities, with a value of around \u20ac93 thousand. In the previous month, activities also began to obtain the necessary documentation for the construction of 22 medium- and low-voltage facilities, with a total value of around \u20ac1.312 million. The necessary documentation is also being obtained for the construction of the 35\/10 kV \u201cVelje Brdo\u201d substation and a 10 kV switchgear at the 110\/10 kV Kli\u010devo substation, for which an amount of \u20ac1.95 million has been allocated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>757 new users<\/strong> were connected to the distribution network in August.<\/p>\n<p>In the previous month, <strong>1,764 new electronic meters<\/strong> <strong>were installed<\/strong> across Montenegro. The total number of metering points in Montenegro equipped with remotely controlled electronic meters is around 315,000, covering around 78 per cent of the electricity consumption.<\/p>\n<p>CEDIS\u2019s core activities are the distribution of electricity and the construction and maintenance of distribution facilities and the network.
