During this period, functional testing of the facility will be carried out. Activities to integrate the transformer station into the 10 kV network will also begin soon.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to remind you that CEDIS invested around two million euros in the construction of the 35\/10 kV \u201cNovi Ulcinj\u201d transformer station, including the cost of building three 35 kV and seven 10 kV cable lines. This facility will significantly improve the quality of electricity supply for our customers in Ulcinj, resulting in fewer outages and faults, especially during periods of overload, which are common at the height of the tourist season. In the coming days, 3,073 customers in the areas of Pinje\u0161a, Nova Mahala, Metriz, Pristan and Stari Grad, as well as the Albatros, Mediteran and Holegro hotels, can expect a direct improvement in voltage conditions. Better electricity supply can also be expected by 5,527 customers in the central urban area, as a result of relieving the 35\/10 kV \u201cGrad\u201d transformer station, which has operated under overload during the tourist season for many years.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.admin.cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/TS-Novi-Ulcinj-2.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4852 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.admin.cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/TS-Novi-Ulcinj-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"528\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We would also like to remind you that \u201cNovi Ulcinj\u201d is an essential infrastructure prerequisite for the tourism development of the Municipality of Ulcinj, including the now certain increase in hotel capacity. It will also create opportunities to develop the 10 kV network and connect new individual residential and mixed-use buildings.<\/p>\n<p>Construction of the facility and its associated network has been affected by fairly complex circumstances from the outset. In terms of the complexity of their impact, we would particularly highlight the prolonged rainy season, which delayed the deadlines for completing certain project phases. The construction project for the transformer station and its associated network also involved excavating roads to lay cables, and these roads have since been repaired. Following the repair of the excavated surfaces, the Technical Acceptance Commission conducted a site inspection and recorded a number of irregularities, which will be rectified after the tourist season. We therefore wish to emphasise that there is no reason to doubt that all works associated with the construction of this exceptionally important facility will be completed in accordance with the prescribed standards, particularly given that all parties involved are committed to bringing this project to completion in the best possible way.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.admin.cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/TS-Novi-Ulcinj.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4853 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.admin.cedis.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/TS-Novi-Ulcinj-1024x498.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"531\" height=\"258\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In addition to the construction of \u201cNovi Ulcinj\u201d, CEDIS plans to implement a number of investment projects in the Municipality of Ulcinj in 2018, with a total value of two million euros.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The \u201cNovi Ulcinj\u201d transformer station has been commissioned for trial operation, which will continue until the end of the year.
