CEDIS Celebrates Eight Years of Independent Operations with Good Deeds

The Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System marked eight years of existence. To mark the occasion, the company’s management, headed by Executive Director Vladimir Ivanović, decided to allocate EUR 9,000 to support institutions that help children and adults on their path to recovery and make life more comfortable for those who truly need it.

Ivanović said that three donations, totalling EUR 9,000, had been paid into the accounts of the following institutions: the “Budi human” Foundation, the “1. jun” Resource Centre, and the Centre for Early Development at KCCG.

“Socially responsible activities that are not primarily part of our core business have brought us numerous awards. Following these donations, we also expect the greatest recognition of our responsibility: smiles on the faces of adults and children whom we have been able to help. A better tomorrow for them should inspire and motivate all responsible companies to continue investing where it is most needed. We are proud of our decision to donate funds to these institutions rather than organise a celebration of the Company’s anniversary,” Ivanović said, adding that CEDIS is continuing its efforts to build a better tomorrow not only for those whose health is at risk, but for all of us.

“I would like to take this opportunity to call on all socially responsible companies to follow our example and join forces to build a better future for us and our children,” Ivanović added.

Goran Jovanović, founder of the “Budi human” Foundation, expressed his gratitude for the donation:

“I would like to thank the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System for its support on behalf of the “Budi human” Foundation. Our Foundation is truly committed to fighting for every child and individual in need of help. It is thanks to support such as that provided by the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System that we are achieving our goal: giving every child and every individual the chance to receive treatment and succeed on their path to recovery. Once again, I would like to thank CEDIS for its support, and express my hope that our cooperation will continue and grow stronger,” Jovanović said.

As one of the country’s most socially responsible companies, CEDIS will continue to support people facing health challenges, for the benefit not only of individuals but of the entire community, firmly believing that in this way we are building a better tomorrow for us all.
