Today, CEDIS’s eighth anniversary was marked at the Administration Building in Podgorica. The event was attended by representatives of management and employees who received awards for their professional, responsible and honourable work at our company.
To mark eight years of independent operations of the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System, the Company’s management, headed by Executive Director Vladimir Ivanović, decided that instead of organising a celebration, it would allocate EUR 9,000 to support those who are truly in need and donate the funds to institutions that assist people with developmental disabilities and those with health needs.
Executive Director Vladimir Ivanović congratulated this year’s award recipients on the awards they so richly deserved.
“You are the ones who took that ‘extra step’ this year, distinguishing yourselves through your work, skills, expertise, team spirit and attitude towards your colleagues and the company.
In a system such as electricity distribution, every link is invaluable to achieving our shared goal: a successful company where we feel at home. The past period has been challenging for CEDIS and society as a whole. We faced real obstacles, but when things were at their most difficult, you were there, knowing that CEDIS must not stop, and that it can and must move forward.
Once again, thank you for your humane approach to the company, your dedication, discipline, commitment, professionalism, and courage in taking on all the challenges the past year brought.,” the Executive Director said, among other things.
Biljana Medojević, Head of the Human Resources, General Affairs and Corporate Communications Sector, also warmly congratulated the award recipients on the results and commitment that set them apart in a large workforce and amid strong competition.
The Employee of the Year award went to Veselin Buzić, substation electrician in the Region 2 Maintenance Service, while the Manager of the Year award went to Saša Milovanović, Coordinator for Regional Development and Major Projects in the ICT, Development, Investments and Network Access Directorate.

This year’s special Energy in the Heart award went to: Milena Nikolić, Legal Support Officer in the Legal Support Service of the Legal Affairs Sector; Radmila Vukčević, Labour Relations and Administration Operator in the Labour Relations and Administration Service of the Human Resources, General Affairs and Corporate Communications Sector; Blažo Jovićević, Finance, Banking and Risk Management Officer in the Finance Service of the Economic Affairs Sector; Ilija Raković, locksmith in the Maintenance Support and Power Facilities Maintenance Service of the Facilities Maintenance Sector; Željko Pejović, storekeeper in the Logistics Service of the Commercial Affairs Sector; Vladimir Perić, Chief Project Management Engineer in the Project Management Service of the Investment Sector; Ratko Ulićević, metering electrician in the Region 2 Metering Service of the Metering Sector; and Nenad Petrović, network switching operator in the Region 2 Local Network Management Service of the Network Management Sector.
