Public Statement by Rajko Radošević, President of the CEDIS Board of Directors

The CEDIS Board of Directors strongly supports the policy of the management of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore not to increase the price of electricity for the citizens of Montenegro.

As a responsible state-owned company, EPCG has put citizens back in focus, which is fully in line with a responsible and realistic company policy.

As a reminder, the public has been informed that the hydrological situation was the worst since measurements began, and that previous losses were caused solely by this situation. Following heavy rainfall, EPCG has already begun exporting electricity and generating millions in profits.

Accordingly, it is in CEDIS’s interest to protect citizens and act in accordance with the pragmatic business policy of our company.

Therefore, regardless of RAE’s positions, our company will not seek an increase in the components of the electricity bill. In other words, we will act very responsibly towards our valued customers.

CEDIS will continue to act purposefully and rationally in the best interests of citizens, EPCG and the State of Montenegro.

Rajko Radošević

President of the CEDIS Board of Directors
