Dejan Keković was born in 1972 in Podgorica. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro.
He began his career in 2006 as a trainee at the Clinical Centre of Montenegro, and from 2007 to 2009 he served as Executive Director of MK BROKER DILER a.d. Podgorica. Dejan then joined MONTAGENT DOO Podgorica, where he worked as a legal adviser from July to December 2009, providing legal services in the field of insurance. At Wiener Stadtische životno osiguranje a.d., he served as Director of the Legal Department from November 2010 to February 2012. He was among the first public enforcement officers in Montenegro and handled more than 25,000 cases from April 2014 to April 2018.
After several shorter engagements, he served as Executive Director of the investment company SASA Capital AD Podgorica from November 2019 to February 2026.
During his career, he passed the state examination administered by the Ministry of Justice, obtained a licence as an arbitrator and mediator in labour disputes from the Ministry of Justice, and, from 2009, held a licence as a bankruptcy trustee issued by the Ministry of Justice, completing several hundred bankruptcy proceedings. Dejan also obtained a broker’s licence from the Capital Market Commission, as well as a licence as an insurance agent and broker from the Insurance Supervision Agency. He passed the examination for a pension fund adviser licence issued by the Capital Market Commission, and obtained a public enforcement officer’s licence from the Ministry of Justice.
Dejan has more than 20 years of experience in corporate law, financial markets, insurance, enforcement proceedings, bankruptcy proceedings and other areas. He has led complex legal processes and gained valuable experience in team management.
Dejan speaks English and Russian.
