Čađenović meets with the presidents of coastal municipalities

The Executive Director of the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System, Vladimir Čađenović, met today with the presidents of the municipalities of Herceg Novi, Stevan Katić; Kotor, Vladimir Jokić; Tivat, Željko Komnenović; Budva, Marko Carević; and representatives of the local governments of the municipalities of Bar and Ulcinj.

At the meeting, it was noted that cooperation between local governments and CEDIS is good and that it will be intensified in the coming period in order to resolve the outstanding issues related to electricity supply to customers. Support from local governments in the form of concessions and expedited administrative procedures is particularly important for implementing CEDIS investment projects aimed at improving the quality of electricity supply. In the coming period, CEDIS will continue with its project to rehabilitate the medium- and low-voltage networks in coastal municipalities, as well as the construction of the distribution network and facilities.

The meeting also discussed the reliable electricity supply of coastal municipalities during the tourist season, and it was noted that cooperation would be improved by appointing contact persons.

Also attending the meeting were Vladimir Ivanović, Head of CEDIS’s Operations Directorate, and Krsto Biskupović, Head of the Development, Planning, Studies and Reporting Service in CEDIS’s Directorate for Development, Network Access and ICT.
