The Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System has received an award for its contribution to improving occupational safety and health, as part of the “Build Knowledge – Protect Yourself” project.
The award was presented yesterday by the Association for Occupational Safety and Health of Montenegro, on the occasion of the International Workers’ Memorial Day. Milan Marjanović from the Occupational Safety System Sector accepted this significant recognition on behalf of CEDIS.
As a responsible employer, the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System pays particular attention to the safety and health of its employees. This is evidenced by the introduction of the highly important international OHSAS standard and the authorisation granted by the relevant ministry, under which our company, as an authorised organisation, can test all protective equipment used by its employees in its laboratory.
The Occupational Safety System Sector has concluded 123 special agreements with contractors covering construction, electrical and craft works in the field of occupational safety and health.
