Rajko Radošević Elected Chairman of the CEDIS Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem DOO Podgorica (CEDIS) today elected Rajko Radošević as Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors at its 1st constituent meeting.

The new composition of the Board of Directors of Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem is: Rajko Radošević, Jelena Bošnjak, Ilija Miljanić, Miloš Krivokapić and Emir Sijarić.

Radošević graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Montenegro, specialising in Power Engineering. He began his career in 1993 at Elektroprivreda Crne Gore, where he held several important positions, including Head of the Maintenance Department, Head of the Metering and Control Department, and Head of the 35 kV Overhead Line Maintenance Service.

He has been with CEDIS since it began operating independently, serving as Head of the 35 kV Overhead Line Maintenance Service, then Head of the 0.4 kV and 10 kV Network Maintenance Centre, and subsequently Head of the Training Centre. He took part in the implementation of several major CEDIS construction and infrastructure projects. He is a member of the Chamber of Engineers of Montenegro.

On 30 June 2016, CEDIS was separated from Elektroprivreda Crne Gore and has operated since then as an independent legal entity licensed to perform the duties of a distribution system operator. CEDIS’s core activities are electricity distribution and the construction and maintenance of distribution facilities and the network. CEDIS distributes electricity to approximately 414,000 customers across Montenegro.
