In the municipalities of Region 4 (Budva, Bar and Ulcinj), electricity consumption fell by 20 per cent compared with the figures recorded in September last year. The largest amount of electricity, around 39 per cent, was distributed to users in the areas of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje (Region 2).

A total of 385,845 meters were read, or 94 per cent of the total number (unread metering points are located in buildings that are not permanently occupied). The meter-reading rate for metering points equipped with new electronic meters is 99 per cent.

In September, the Maintenance Sector teams intervened in the field 1,884 times. The value of works to maintain electricity facilities amounted to EUR 342,354 thousand.

Last month, works on projects worth around EUR 840,000 were completed at the secondary network level, with the largest amount allocated to the construction of the 10/0.4 kV “Rafailovići 1 – Nova” substation. A transformer was also replaced in the 35/10 kV “Centar – Berane 2” substation during September.

Last month, 871 new electronic meters were installed across Montenegro. The total number of metering points in Montenegro equipped with remotely controlled electronic meters is around 330,000, covering approximately 80 per cent of consumption.
