Description

The “CEDIS SCADA – Smart digitalization” project is aimed at modernising and digitalising Montenegro’s electricity distribution network through the introduction of an advanced distribution management system (ADMS/SCADA), the development of modern telecommunications infrastructure and the enhancement of the smart metering system.

The project is being implemented through the following activities:

SCADA/ADMS – Phase I – EUR 15 million – implementation of an advanced ADMS/SCADA system, establishment of a central and backup data centre, automation of main and primary 110/35(10) kV and 35/10 kV substations, construction and modernisation of telecommunications infrastructure, and integration with CEDIS’s existing systems.

Smart Metering – EUR 10 million – procurement of smart meters and their integration with CEDIS’s systems, with the aim of improving metering, remote reading and more efficient management of consumption and losses.

SCADA/ADMS – Phase II – EUR 10 million – expansion of the system to cover the remaining part of Montenegro’s distribution network, inclusion of additional substations and network segments, and further enhancement of telecommunications infrastructure and system functionality.
