The Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System, in cooperation with the Bureau for Education of Montenegro, which implements the International Eco-Schools Programme, is announcing
A CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE “ENERGY UNDERLINED IN GREEN” PROJECT
in the field of environmental protection.
ELIGIBILITY
Educational institutions implementing the International Eco-Schools Programme are eligible to apply, specifically those holding the international Green Flag award and those that have applied to pilot the Eco-Schools Programme.
APPLICATION AREAS
Educational institutions may apply with only one project in one of the following areas:
- Energy
- Environmental protection
- Biodiversity
- School grounds
- Waste
- Climate change
PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD
The project implementation period runs until the end of the 2023/2024 school year.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Innovation;
- Project impact;
- Quality of the proposal;
- Approach and methodology;
- Links to the curriculum;
- Project promotion;
- Sustainability.
APPLICATION DEADLINE
- October 2023.
HOW TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION
Documentation may be submitted electronically to the email address pr@cedis.me or by post to the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System, marked “Energy Underlined in Green” project call, 12 Ivana Milutinovića Street, 81000 Podgorica.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE
The “Energy Underlined in Green” project aims to raise awareness among students, teachers and the community about the importance of the environment. Through projects carried out by educational institutions, students will be able to get involved in solving problems and contribute to improving the environment at a level where tangible results can be seen.
PRIZE FUND
The project is funded by the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System – CEDIS, with a total of EUR 15,000. Each educational institution may receive a maximum of EUR 3,000 per project.
DECISION ON THE AWARD OF PRIZES
The decision on the award of prizes will be published no later than 21 November 2023.
