The Executive Director of the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System, Vladimir Čađenović, hosted an iftar dinner for Rifat Fejzić, Reis of the Islamic Community, and his associates. Čađenović informed the guests of the intention to return the CEDIS building in Pljevlja to the Islamic Community. The building was constructed on land where the Hadži Hasan Mosque had previously been expropriated and demolished.
“We are working quickly to find ways to return the building in order to remedy the injustice witnessed by the solitary minaret, without a prayer space,” said Čađenović.
The Reis thanked the director and CEDIS management for hosting the iftar and for their willingness to address issues that have long hindered genuine understanding and the building of healthy social relations.
Attending the iftar were Rajko Radošević, Chair of the CEDIS Board of Directors, and Board member Emir Sijarić, as well as Fuad Čekić, Ferid Osmanagić and Muharem Demirović from the Islamic Community.
