CEDIS receives the 2019 Corporate Social Responsibility Award

The Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System has once again received an award for corporate social responsibility.

The Union of Employers of Montenegro presents awards to small, medium-sized and large enterprises in the categories of Care for Employees, Care for the Environment and Care for the Community.

CEDIS received the award for corporate social responsibility in the area of Care for the Community, in the large enterprises category. The award was presented to Marija Jovović, Head of CEDIS’s Corporate Communications Department, by Suzana Radulović, Secretary General of the Union of Employers of Montenegro.

Jovović thanked the Union of Employers on behalf of CEDIS for encouraging the business community for six years to take a more responsible and creative approach to corporate social responsibility.

“This is the third award for corporate social responsibility that we have received in three years of independent operation, confirming that we are doing the right things. For us, this award is not an additional obligation, but rather an extra incentive to continue initiating and supporting high-quality projects in education, healthcare, sport, culture, environmental protection and other areas in the period ahead. By supporting individuals, institutions, clubs, federations, associations and NGOs, we want to make an even greater contribution to the advancement of Montenegrin society,” Jovović said.

We recall that in 2017 CEDIS received an award in the large enterprises category for “Care for the Community”, and in 2018 an award in the “Care for Employees” category.
