CEDIS Supports Young Champions

The Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System has concluded a sponsorship agreement with Viktor Dukić, the world junior kickboxing champion.

This young man has won numerous international and world competitions, is a member of the „Rad“ Kickboxing Club and represents Montenegro on the national team. In 2024, Viktor won as many as six gold medals at the biggest international competitions, capping it off with a victory at the CMF 3 Capital City Trophy tournament, held at the end of last year. His contribution to Montenegrin sport is reflected in the fact that, in the history of our sport, no athlete has won six gold medals in a single year at the most prestigious international competitions.

“By investing in young people, we invest in a better future for our country. I am extremely pleased that the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System recognises true talent such as Viktor and is able to support him in this way. We believe our support will help Viktor on his path to winning new medals, and we wish him the best of luck and are keeping our fingers crossed for him,” said Vladimir Ivanović, Executive Director of the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System.

“I am proud that such a large company as CEDIS has recognised my talent and stood by me. I am grateful to CEDIS Executive Director Vladimir Ivanović and all his colleagues for the trust they have placed in me. Their support, as well as my results to date, oblige me to represent myself, my club and my country in the best possible light at upcoming competitions, as I have done so far. Given the training I do every day, I am also expecting the best results,” the young national team athlete told us.

As one of the leading drivers of Montenegro’s development, CEDIS has for years provided wholehearted support, within its means, to the diverse needs of the communities in which it operates. Supporting young athletes is not just an investment in sport, but in society as a whole
