CONTINUED COOPERATION BETWEEN CEDIS AND ETF

CEDIS Executive Director Vladimir Ivanović and the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Dr Budimir Lutovac, accompanied by their associates, visited a hall at the prestigious faculty yesterday. With CEDIS’s support, it has been refurbished and branded in the Company’s “colours”.

This is just one of a series of activities to be carried out at ETF under CEDIS’s agreement with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, worth EUR 15,000, which relates to the refurbishment and equipping of classrooms used for teaching and laboratory exercises in the field of power systems.

Ivanović stressed that CEDIS is the Faculty of Electrical Engineering’s most natural partner, and that the funds were allocated in this context to make teaching across all study programmes more effective and of higher quality.

“It is evident that the Faculty of Electrical Engineering is making tremendous efforts to achieve its goals and fulfil its stated mission: to educate high-calibre engineers in the field of power engineering. CEDIS will provide wholehearted support along the way, because the graduates produced by the faculty will lead all future processes and projects that will help our Company continue to improve and remain one of the pillars of Montenegro’s economy,” Ivanović said.

The meeting also addressed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions, with CEDIS potentially becoming a scientific base for ETF in the future, drawing on its extensive technical and spatial resources. In addition to exchanging experiences regarding the current number of students, young people’s interest in energy, the representation of women in the field, and the opportunities CEDIS offers young engineers, guidelines for further joint action were agreed.
