The Executive Director of the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System Vladimir Čađenović and the Executive Director of the Environmental Protection Fund (Eko-fond) Draško Boljević signed yesterday an Agreement on the Award of Non-Repayable Funds (Subsidies) to CEDIS for the recent purchase of two new electric vehicles, with the aim of contributing to the protection and improvement of air quality in our country.
Since its establishment, CEDIS has acted responsibly towards the environment and has paid due attention to sustainable business practices. Accordingly, two more electric vehicles, Renault Megane E-tech. , were purchased in September.
Since the Environmental Protection Fund, in accordance with its authority, published a Public Call for the Award of Non-Repayable Funds for the Purchase of Electric and Hybrid Vehicles on its website on 19 June this year, CEDIS recognised itself as eligible under the call and submitted the required documentation. Eko-fond’s response was positive, and the subsidy amounts to five thousand euros per electric vehicle.
