Users of the electricity distribution system consumed a total of 213,267,388 kWh of electricity in November, which is in line with the consumption recorded during the same period of the previous year. The largest share of electricity, around 40 per cent, was distributed to users in the areas of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje (Region 2).
A total of 394,085 meters were read, or 94 per cent of the total number (unread metering points are located in buildings that are not permanently occupied). The meter reading rate for metering points equipped with new electronic meters is 99 per cent.
In November, the Maintenance Sector teams carried out 2,585 field interventions. The value of works on the maintenance of electricity facilities amounted to around €489,000.
709 new users were connected to the distribution network in November.
Last month, construction of the 10/0.4 kV substation “Blok12” in Budva was completed, at a cost of around €120,000. In addition, work continued in November on the project to relocate infrastructure in the area of the reconstruction of the “Podgorica–Danilovgrad” main road, which will require an investment of around €600,000. Public procurement procedures are also under way for the construction of five 10/0.4 kV substations, with a total value of around €400,000.
Last month, 31 new electronic meters were installed across Montenegro. The total number of metering points in Montenegro equipped with remotely controlled electronic meters is around 337,000, covering more than 80 per cent of the customer base.
