Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System (CEDIS) marked the anniversary of its establishment last night with a commemorative ceremony at King Nikola’s Palace.
CEDIS, as a limited liability company, has been in existence for one year, but Montenegro’s distribution system has a history spanning more than a century. The Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System was established with the aim of enabling new suppliers to enter the market and liberalising the electricity market in line with the requirements of European Union regulations, said Zoran Djukanović, CEDIS Executive Director.
Đukanović added that dedicated employees are what make a company successful, and said he expected the company to meet all the needs of the community.

As a company committed to social responsibility, CEDIS has directed its activities in this area towards those most in need. Our company donated approximately €29,000 to the Clinical Centre of Montenegro to purchase a paediatric cardiac ultrasound machine for the Institute for Children’s Diseases.
“It took only a few minutes for us to agree that you would donate this valuable gift to the Institute for Children’s Diseases. I need not tell you how much the purchase of this machine means to the Institute and our young patients,” said Zorica Kovačević, Director of the Clinical Centre of Montenegro.

Our country’s image has been shaped most effectively by the outstanding results achieved by our athletes. CEDIS is continuing the long-standing tradition of supporting the Water Polo and Swimming Association of Montenegro with a sponsorship of €25,000.
“Our first steps, our achievements and our entire lives have been linked to EPCG, and now to CEDIS.
This kind of assistance and support is extremely important in helping us achieve the results we have achieved. We feel like part of your family, and I hope we will continue this tradition,” said Petar Porobić, Director of the Water Polo and Swimming Association of Montenegro.
