Vladimir Čađenović Appointed Executive Director of CEDIS

At its meeting yesterday, the Board of Directors of the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System LLC Podgorica (CEDIS) dismissed Executive Director Zoran Đukanović and appointed Vladimir Čađenović as Executive Director, in accordance with the Law on Business Companies and the CEDIS Statute.

Čađenović was born in 1984 in Podgorica, where he completed primary and secondary school. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Montenegro, where he also began his career in 2008 as Head of the Student Affairs Section at the Faculty of Law Department in Budva, and later as Head of Student Services at the University of Montenegro’s Institute of Foreign Languages, where he served as secretary from 2011. He practised law from 2016.

The newly appointed Executive Director will take up his duties on 10 April of this year, in accordance with the Company’s Collective Agreement.

CEDIS was separated from Elektroprivreda Crne Gore on 30 June 2016 and has since operated as an independent legal entity licensed to operate as a distribution system operator. CEDIS’s core activities are the distribution of electricity and the construction and maintenance of distribution facilities and the network. CEDIS distributes electricity to approximately 414,000 customers across Montenegro.
