VLADIMIR ČAĐENOVIĆ ELECTED CHAIRMAN OF THE CEDIS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The new Board of Directors of Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem DOO Podgorica today elected former Executive Director Vladimir Čađenović as Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors at its constitutive session.

The new CEDIS Board of Directors consists of Vladimir Čađenović, Mirsad Džudžević, Jovan Sinanović and, from among the experts, Prof. Dr Vladan Radulović and Ilija Miljanić.

Čađenović was born in Podgorica in 1984, where he completed primary school and secondary school. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro in 2008. He began his career on 1 October 2008 at the University of Montenegro’s Faculty of Law, where, until June 2010, he served as Head of the Student Affairs Department at the Faculty of Law’s department in Budva. He then joined the University of Montenegro’s Institute of Foreign Languages as Head of the Institute’s Student Services Office. From 8 July 2011 to 4 May 2016, he was Secretary of the Institute of Foreign Languages. He practised law from 2016 onwards. He was appointed Executive Director of CEDIS on 12 April 2021. Čađenović speaks Russian and has a working knowledge of English. He is married and has one child.

CEDIS was separated from Elektroprivreda Crne Gore on 30 June 2016 and has operated since then as an independent legal entity licensed to perform the functions of a distribution system operator. CEDIS’s core activities are electricity distribution, and the construction and maintenance of distribution facilities and the network. CEDIS distributes electricity to approximately 430,000 customers across Montenegro.
