We Continue to Support Educational Institutions

CEDIS continues to support educational institutions, this time through a project involving a donation of two and a half thousand euros to the “Vuko Jovović” Primary School in Danilovgrad and the “Zagorka Ivanović” Preschool Institution in Cetinje. An integral part of CEDIS’s business strategy is its socially responsible approach, with a particular focus on the education system, as this project also demonstrates.

“As we have stated before, the fundamental principle of CEDIS’s business is commitment to and care for the community. The way we do this at CEDIS entails mutual understanding and cooperation with the environment in which we operate, as well as identifying and permanently resolving problems. Supporting educational processes in Montenegro is a particular area of interest for us,” said Marija Jovović, Head of the Corporate Communications Department at CEDIS, adding that “investment in the education system is a prerequisite for the development of society.

“People, through their intellectual and creative potential, form the strategic foundation for the development of society; they are the bearers of knowledge, ideas and information. That is why we will continue to support the education system in Montenegro in the period ahead,” said Jovović.

“Thanks to the donation from CEDIS, the budget for replacing the thirty-year-old windows and doors in the technical section of the “Zagorka Ivanović” Preschool Institution has been supplemented,” said Senka Vuksanović, director of the oldest preschool institution in Montenegro.

Nataša Vuletić, director of the “Vuko Jovović” Primary School, also expressed her gratitude to CEDIS for its support, noting that without it they would not have been able to carry out the carpentry work in the school hall.

We would like to recall that this year CEDIS also donated funds to the “Slobodan Škerović” Gymnasium, while the “Njegoš” Primary School in Spuž received support of EUR 4,900 on the occasion of its 139th anniversary. After just over two years of independent operations, CEDIS has become recognised by the public as a socially responsible company, as confirmed by the award from the Employers’ Union of Montenegro (“UPCG CSR Award”), which was presented to our company late last year in recognition of its support for a significant number of projects in the fields of healthcare, education, sports and culture.
