On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System was awarded a Recognition for its outstanding contribution to the development of voluntary blood donation in 2023.
At a ceremony held at the Blood Transfusion Institute in Podgorica, the Recognition was presented to Predrag Šćekić, President of the CEDIS Voluntary Blood Donors’ Club, by Dr Tamara Šćepanović, Director of the healthcare institution.
A voluntary blood donation drive, the second this year, was also organised in Podgorica.
The Voluntary Blood Donors’ Club promises further drives in the coming period.
