CEDIS Gift to the “OKTOIH” Public Primary School Ahead of the Start of the School Year

CEDIS continues to support educational institutions, this time by donating €2,500 to the “Oktoih” Public Primary School in Podgorica. The donated funds will be used to renovate the school premises.

Principal Mirjana Radulović thanked CEDIS for its generous assistance and understanding in its cooperation with the “Oktoih” Public Primary School, adding that it is exceptionally important to foster an atmosphere in which leading Montenegrin companies are willing to contribute to improving the conditions in which our children spend their time.

– Your reputation for compassion and good deeds has been evident once again on this occasion, for which we are immensely grateful. As the head of this educational institution, I am very satisfied and happy that, together, we have made the environment more attractive, orderly and safe for our children at school by installing 300 additional square metres of granite tiles in the corridors – Radulović noted.

With this donation, CEDIS once again confirms that its established practice of supporting educational institutions is not a short-term initiative but, on the contrary, a long-term commitment by a company that recognises education as an indispensable area to support as part of its social responsibility.

– CEDIS’s cooperation with educational institutions has undoubtedly become well recognised in the public sphere. This is an additional motivation for us to continue doing more and doing better, because it is worth repeating that children are an invaluable asset to our society. This is a symbolic gift to the “Oktoih” Public Primary School ahead of the start of the school year, along with a promise that this is only the beginning of a long and successful partnership – noted Marija Jovović, Head of Corporate Communications at CEDIS.

We would like to remind you that, since its establishment, CEDIS has launched a number of projects to support the education system. Significant funds have been donated to the “Slobodan Škerović” Gymnasium, the “Njegoš” Public Primary School in Spuž, the “Vuko Jovović” Public Primary School in Danilovgrad, the “Zagorka Ivanović” Public Preschool Institution in Cetinje, as well as 10 laptop computers for Montenegrin preschool institutions. CEDIS also launched the first electrical engineering competition for students of Montenegrin secondary vocational schools, “ENERGY IN THE WIRE”.

For two consecutive years, CEDIS has received awards from the Employers’ Union of Montenegro in recognition of its support for a significant number of projects in healthcare, education, culture and employee welfare.
