Third Anniversary Marked with a €20,000 Donation to the Clinical Centre

The Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System marked the successful completion of its third year of operations by donating €20,000 to the Clinical Centre of Montenegro. Since its establishment, CEDIS has placed particular emphasis on successful cooperation with the Clinical Centre as part of its socially responsible activities. The total amount of funds directed to this healthcare institution, including this year’s third donation, has reached €79,000.

“As we have had the opportunity to emphasise on several occasions, CEDIS’s core business principle is commitment to and care for the community. The way we do this at CEDIS truly involves mutual understanding and cooperation with the environment in which we operate, as well as identifying and permanently resolving issues. Support for Montenegrin healthcare has been, and will remain, a particular area of interest for us. Given the importance of this system to society, I am especially pleased that we are able to encourage positive developments in healthcare for the third consecutive year. I hope and believe that this form of cooperation will become a tradition,” said CEDIS Executive Director Zoran Đukanović.

The donated funds will be used to purchase 15 syringe pumps for the Clinic for Anaesthesia, Resuscitation and Pain Therapy.

Clinical Centre Director Jevto Eraković said he was pleased that CEDIS, as a socially responsible company, had contributed to the development not only of KCCG but also of Montenegrin healthcare as a whole through valuable donations for the third consecutive year, marking its anniversary.

“This donation is particularly significant because the funds are intended to purchase medical equipment for the Department of Central Intensive Care, which treats the most critically ill and life-threateningly ill patients. Confident that we will continue our good business cooperation in the future, to the satisfaction of the users of our services, I would like to thank you once again, on behalf of KCCG and in my own name, and congratulate you on your anniversary. I wish you continued business success at an enviable level,” said Eraković.

The donations made in previous years were intended to establish a Baby-Friendly Unit at the Clinic for Gynaecology and Obstetrics of the Clinical Centre of Montenegro and to purchase a paediatric cardiac ultrasound system for the Institute for Children’s Diseases. In addition to healthcare, CEDIS’s corporate social responsibility strategy places particular emphasis on supporting sport and educational institutions. After three years of independent operations, CEDIS is recognised by the public as a socially responsible company, as confirmed by awards from the Employers’ Union of Montenegro, presented in recognition of its support for a significant number of projects in healthcare, education, culture and employee welfare.
