This year, the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System (CEDIS) supported the 12th International Podgorica Book and Education Fair and, in cooperation with the publishing house Nova knjiga, launched an initiative for children receiving treatment at the Institute for Children’s Diseases of the Clinical Centre of Montenegro entitled “We Read for Your Smile”.
The “We Read for Your Smile” initiative will take place on 4 and 5 May at the Institute for Children’s Diseases, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. For children aged three and older, entertainer Žarko Žabac will read the chapter “The Little Prince and the Fox” from the book The Little Prince in an engaging and entertaining way. The children will then be presented with suitable books.
Through this initiative, we want to enable our little ones, who are unable to visit the Fair due to illness, to take part in this event by bringing the Fair to them and introducing them to the world of books.
At CEDIS, we want reading to bring smiles to their faces in the period ahead as well, so we will also carry out this initiative in June.
